View Shifts and Estimated Earnings
Schedule access is the main employee workflow in LIFELENZ. Team members can open allocated shifts, review the date, time, location, and other shift details, then use the roster view to understand the work week without relying on a printed schedule or a separate message from a manager.
The app can also show estimated shift earnings and keep workers informed when a scheduled time or time punch changes. This combination gives employees a practical way to plan transport, personal commitments, and expected hours from one place. Calendar syncing and shift reminders add useful prompts for people who manage changing rosters across busy restaurant or service locations.
Accept, Reject, Swap, or Drop Shifts
Shift responses let workers handle changes without starting a separate text or phone conversation. When an assigned or offered shift needs attention, employees can accept or reject it, pick up eligible offers, or use swap and drop options to coordinate coverage with colleagues and managers.
Availability and role rules help keep those requests connected to the roster rather than treating every exchange as an informal arrangement. Employees can also notify a manager when they are running late, while manager approvals provide a clear decision point for requests that affect staffing. For teams with frequent schedule changes, these tools make it easier to keep the published roster current and reduce confusion about who is expected to work.
Request Time Off and Update Availability
LIFELENZ gives employees a mobile route for submitting time-off requests and changes to recurring availability. Workers can record when they cannot work or would prefer different hours, then wait for a manager response before planning around the change. This is especially useful for students, part-time staff, and employees balancing schedules across personal commitments.
The same availability information helps managers consider employee limits while maintaining future rosters. Notifications can communicate approval decisions and later schedule changes, while the calendar connection keeps confirmed work visible alongside personal events. Keeping requests, responses, and roster updates together gives both sides a clearer history than scattered messages and makes it easier to prepare for upcoming weeks.
Employee, Manager, and Kiosk Access
The app supports different workplace roles without requiring separate products for every user. Employees can focus on schedules, shift actions, hours, and team communication, while managers can switch to a management view for daily schedules, staffing alerts, live time-clock information, and selected performance insights.
Organizations can also offer kiosk access on a shared in-store tablet for employees who do not want to use a personal phone. Account access depends on the employer's setup: the Android app provides both SSO domain login and email-and-password login paths, so staff may need credentials or instructions from their workplace. This role-based design suits teams that need the same scheduling system across personal devices, manager workflows, and shared locations.
