Clock In and Record Care Visits
Time4Care centers on recording work as a care visit happens. Service providers can start and stop a real-time timer, or use manual entry when a shift was not captured live. Each record can include worked hours, delivered services, activities, and notes, giving users one place to document the information connected to a shift.
Before submission, providers can review and edit entries instead of relying on memory at the end of a pay period. The workflow is designed for phones, so a caregiver can manage time close to the point of service and correct details while the visit is still fresh. That reduces missed hours and makes each submitted record easier for an employer to understand.
EVV and Offline Shift Capture
Programs that require Electronic Visit Verification can use Time4Care to record details connected to a visit, including clock-in and clock-out time and the service location at those moments. This supports care programs that need a traceable link between the worker, recipient, date, service, and visit timing without turning the phone into an always-on location tracker.
Offline time entry gives workers a practical fallback when a home or community location has weak connectivity. A shift can be recorded without an active internet connection and handled when service returns. Because EVV rules differ by state and program, users should follow the options presented for their own enrollment rather than assuming every location uses the same steps.
Review, Submit, and Approve Timesheets
Time4Care connects provider time entry with employer review. After a worker records hours, activities, and notes, the entry can be submitted for approval from the same mobile workflow. Employers can open submitted time, review the details, and approve or reject it without waiting for a desktop session, helping the payroll process move forward while information is current.
The app can also flag problems around submission, giving providers a chance to correct entries before they become payment delays. A simple calendar-style view and status information make it easier to follow recent work, while reminders and approval alerts help both sides notice unfinished steps. This shared workflow is most useful when providers and employers keep their PPL accounts active and review entries regularly.
Accounts, Program Access, and Daily Use
Time4Care uses PPL account access to connect each person with the right state program, role, and timekeeping records. Existing PPL users can sign in with their established credentials, while new users can begin registration from the Sign Up link and select the state tied to their program. This keeps provider and employer actions associated with the correct program context.
Once access is set up, the app is suited to routine shift tracking rather than occasional administrative catch-up. Providers can record time throughout the week, and employers can review submitted entries from their own accounts. The combination of mobile entry, status checks, offline support, and approval tools makes it practical for users who need a repeatable care-work timekeeping process.
