Start with your organization
UKG Ready begins by asking users to select a region and enter the company short name provided by their organization. Its sign-in flow then uses a company-branded page with username and password fields, making the organization-managed account model clear before work data is shown.
This setup fits employees whose employer has already enabled UKG Ready mobile access. It is not a service where an individual can create an independent workplace account without an organization connection.
Handle time and attendance tasks
UKG says employees can clock in or out of a shift from the mobile app, giving people a way to complete routine time tasks away from a desktop. That can be useful on a job site, while traveling, or during a normal workday when a mobile check is more convenient.
The available actions depend on the employer's configuration, so a clock, timecard, or attendance option may not appear for every user. Employees should follow their organization闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘?timekeeping rules and use approved location or device methods where required.
Review pay, leave, and benefits
Employees can access pay information, request time off, and enroll in benefits alongside other HR needs. Bringing those related tasks into one account can help an employee check information and submit requests without moving between separate workplace tools.
These modules are controlled by the organization, which can decide which features are available in the mobile experience. Payroll details, leave balances, and benefit choices should therefore be understood as employer-provided information rather than universal app features.
Support managers on the move
For managers, Managers can adjust schedules to fill gaps, handle approvals and performance reviews, and work with workforce insights such as likely attrition or team sentiment. The mobile format is intended to make selected supervisory work possible when the manager is not at a workstation.
That is useful for leaders who already have the necessary role permissions in their company闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘?UKG Ready deployment. It does not grant management authority, expose every workforce function, or replace the organization闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘?own policy and approval process.
Use a company-managed sign-in
The login screen shows that access is tied to a specific company after the region and short name are chosen. The service requires an organization to enable mobile use and provide a seven-digit company short name, which keeps the service connected to an employer account.
If credentials, short name, or available features are unclear, UKG directs users to their manager or company administrator. That support route is more appropriate than assuming a public registration path or attempting to use credentials from another organization.
