Clock In and Track Job Time
TimeKeeper gives employees a direct mobile routine for recording the start and end of each working period. After signing in with the account created by their employer, staff can clock in, choose the job or project they are working on, and clock out when the task or shift finishes. That keeps everyday attendance entries tied to actual work instead of handwritten sheets.
Mobile clocking can include location data, while job selection separates hours across clients or sites. Employees moving between assignments can switch jobs during the day, helping businesses understand how long each task takes and giving payroll teams cleaner records to process later.
Verify Attendance at Each Worksite
Businesses can configure TimeKeeper to add identity and location checks to mobile attendance. A clock event may include a front-camera photo and facial recognition, while GPS records the device location at the moment an employee clocks in or out. These controls are useful for distributed crews where managers need confidence that entries belong to the right person and place.
Job geofences can limit clocking to a defined area around a worksite. Teams that share a tablet can instead use kiosk mode, where each employee enters a four-digit PIN before recording time. Administrators can choose the method that fits a fixed workplace, travelling staff, or multiple active sites.
Manage Timesheets, Leave, and Expenses
TimeKeeper brings common employee self-service tasks into the same mobile workspace as attendance. Staff can review worked hours and overtime, submit manual timesheets when that option is enabled, and correct or add entries according to their employer's settings. This gives employees a clearer view of recorded time before those details move into approval and payroll routines.
Leave requests can be sent from the app and followed through approval or rejection, with balances and status available to the employee. Expense tools let staff add claims and photograph receipts, while managers handle review through the web portal. These workflows reduce separate forms for routine workforce administration.
Follow Schedules and Job Updates
Field staff can use TimeKeeper to see upcoming shifts and the details attached to assigned jobs. Schedules help employees confirm when and where they are expected to work, while job records can carry notes, documents, photos, and signatures needed at the site. Real-time updates keep mobile workers connected to changes made by office staff.
Notification reminders can prompt users to clock in or out and alert them when schedules change. An optional messenger also supports individual or group conversations between field employees and office teams. Together, these tools make the Android app useful beyond a basic time clock, especially for crews that move between clients, projects, and locations.
