Account Balances and Transaction Review
CIBC US brings checking, savings, and debit-card information into a mobile account view for CIBC Bank USA customers. After entering a NetBanking User ID and password, customers can review balances and recent transactions without opening a desktop browser or visiting a banking center. This makes the app useful for quick account checks during travel, shopping, or daily budgeting.
The sign-in screen also provides a Save my User ID option for faster return visits while keeping the password separate. Customers who manage several eligible CIBC US accounts can use the account overview to compare available funds and follow recent activity before deciding whether to pay a bill, transfer money, or contact the bank.
Transfers, People Pay, and Bill Payments
Money movement tools cover transfers between eligible CIBC US accounts, person-to-person payments through People Pay, and electronic bill payments. People Pay lets customers send money in the United States using a recipient's phone number or email address, while internal transfers help move funds between linked accounts. These paths support both immediate everyday payments and planned account management.
Bill Pay adds scheduling for customers who want to arrange future payments rather than repeat the same task on the due date. Before confirming a transfer or payment, users should review the destination, amount, and timing carefully. Together, these options give account holders several ways to move money from the same mobile banking workflow.
Mobile Check Deposits and Status Tracking
Mobile deposit lets eligible CIBC US customers submit a check without traveling to a branch or ATM. The workflow uses the phone camera to capture the front and back of an endorsed check, then asks the customer to choose a deposit account and confirm the amount. It is designed for routine deposits when a physical check needs to reach a bank account quickly.
Customers can also return to the app to check the status of mobile deposits. Deposits still require bank verification, and submitted funds may not be available for immediate withdrawal, so the status view matters when planning a payment or transfer. This combination of capture and tracking turns a paper-check task into a guided mobile process.
Support, Security Links, and Banking Locations
The pre-login menu keeps help and account-support routes available before a customer enters banking credentials. It includes Help, About, Forgot Password, Mobile Privacy Policy, Mobile Online Security, and Mobile Terms, giving users direct places to recover access or read service information. A Locations entry can help customers look for a nearby ATM or CIBC Bank USA banking center when a task needs in-person support.
The About screen identifies CIBC Bank USA and displays the app build, server, and configuration values, which can help during a support conversation. These links make the app more than a transaction screen: they also provide recovery, security, legal, and branch-finding paths for customers who need assistance before or after signing in.
