LiveWell gives Advocate Health patients a practical place to arrange care and keep appointments moving. Use it to schedule appointments, find a doctor or location, and view maps or driving directions before an in-person visit.
For a scheduled visit, PreCheck-In can be completed from the appointment details. That makes it easier to review the visit preparation tasks before the day of care instead of searching for them at the last minute.
Keep results, medications and billing together
After a lab or test is available, LiveWell lets a signed-in patient check the result from the app. The portal also brings medication information into the same care experience, so a patient can review it while preparing a question or a follow-up appointment.
Billing is another routine task handled alongside care information. Patients can pay a bill and manage billing preferences or insurance-related tasks without treating payment as a separate, disconnected process.
Message the care team or start virtual care
Patients can message their providers and care team through LiveWell when they need to send a question or request. That conversation option is useful between visits, while appointment scheduling remains available when a live discussion is the better next step.
LiveWell also supports video visits and e-visits for eligible care needs. A video visit can be scheduled or started through the service, while an e-visit begins with symptom questions and routes a message to a telehealth provider for a diagnosis.
Add wellness habits and health tracking
The app includes health quizzes, health and wellness insights, and guided meditation exercises for moments that are not tied to a clinical appointment. Those options give patients a way to explore wellness content alongside the care tasks they already manage in LiveWell.
People enrolled in self-tracking programs can upload health and fitness data, including data from Health Connect. This makes the tracking option program-specific rather than a promise that every account automatically shares device health data.
Manage care for yourself and family
LiveWell is designed for managing a patient's own health and wellness as well as care for family members who depend on them. This can bring appointment planning, medications, and other everyday care tasks into one account-based workflow.
Account creation connects a new LiveWell account with an existing medical record through the user's answers. Access to particular family accounts and care options can depend on the appropriate account setup and eligibility.
