Build orders where supplies are stored
DSSI Mobile lets authorized DSSI customers create an order while moving through a storeroom, kitchen, or other supply area. Users can add needed quantities without returning to a desktop after every shelf or storage location.
Products can be found by keyword or item number and then added to the cart from the phone. DSSI Mobile also supports checkout prompts, while users may finish checkout from the desktop account when that better fits their workflow.
Mirror physical locations with shelves
DSSI Mobile can organize frequently purchased products into named shelves that reflect real storage locations. Teams can arrange those shelves and their items in a practical order, making repeat inventory walks easier to follow.
Shelf-to-Sheet workflows let staff move from one physical shelf to the next while adjusting the quantities they need. DSSI Mobile keeps those shelf structures connected to the customer account, so the same organization is not rebuilt for each order.
Find and pair products with QR codes
DSSI Mobile includes a QR scanner that can retrieve a product tied to a code and bring it into the ordering flow. Staff can place labels near stored products, scan them at the point of use, and adjust cart quantities with fewer manual searches.
When a code is not yet assigned, DSSI Mobile can pair it with a product found through search. Future scans of that label can then return the linked item, supporting a consistent process across storage racks and supply rooms.
Count stock on hand
DSSI Mobile provides a Stock workflow for entering the quantity currently available at a physical shelf. Users select the relevant location and adjust whole-unit counts, including an explicit zero when no items remain.
The inventory workflow can also represent products obtained outside DSSI, giving teams a broader view of what is physically present. Those off-system items can be counted and displayed, although they are not available for ordering through DSSI Mobile.
Keep mobile and desktop work aligned
DSSI Mobile synchronizes customer preferences, shelf settings, and cart activity with the desktop DSSI account. This connection lets staff begin work near the supplies and continue appropriate order tasks from a computer when needed.
Connection banners indicate whether mobile changes are still syncing or have completed. Waiting for the Sync Complete message before checkout helps ensure that quantities entered in DSSI Mobile have reached the desktop cart.
