Players can browse the catalog, adjust layout settings, and choose a setup that matches a driving, action, or controller-heavy session. The app also supports custom button arrangements and phone sensors as part of its game-control focus, which can make one handset useful across several PC games without carrying a separate pad.
Remote Desktop, Camera, and Projector Utilities
Utilities broaden PC Remote beyond pointer and gamepad input. Remote Desktop is designed to control a PC screen in real time, while Camera (UVC) can view and control cameras already attached to the computer. Virtual Camera turns the phone camera into a webcam-style input for calls, streaming, or online meetings.
Projector provides another practical route by mirroring the phone screen or sending photos and videos to a PC. Together, these tools make the app useful for quick demonstrations, remote support, camera access, and sharing tasks. Hosts and Account & Connections organize how the phone finds or remembers a computer. Local Wi-Fi discovery can scan for a PC Remote receiver on the same network, while Connect by ID and remote-host access support computers linked to an account. Bluetooth and USB tethering add alternatives when a shared Wi-Fi path is inconvenient.
Sign-in is mainly useful for syncing devices and viewing remote PCs associated with the account; local connection can be started from the host scan area. This makes PC Remote practical for home media control, game sessions, classroom demonstrations, and travel setups, as long as the receiver is running and the phone and PC use a compatible connection method.
