Plan appointments and prepare visits
MyUofMHealth gives U-M Health patients a mobile place to manage appointments and request future care. Appointment reminders and request tools can help a patient keep planned care visible without relying on separate paper notes.
Before an upcoming visit, eCheck-In can be used to review information and complete the preparation steps available in the portal. Questionnaires and visit-related tasks can be handled as part of the same patient account experience.
Review results and message care teams
Test results are available through MyUofMHealth so patients can review health information from their portal account. The app also supports messages, giving patients a way to send non-emergency questions to their care team.
Keeping messages and results in one portal can make follow-up more organized after a visit or a test. A patient can review the information they have received before deciding whether a message or an appointment request is the appropriate next step.
Request refills and manage billing
Prescription refill requests are one of the routine care tasks available in MyUofMHealth. Patients can use the portal to keep refill-related work connected to their existing care account instead of tracking it in a separate app.
Billing tools are also included with the portal services. That allows patients to review payment-related tasks alongside appointments and other health administration, while specific account options depend on their U-M Health care relationship.
Track health and complete questionnaires
MyUofMHealth includes health tracking tools that can help patients keep relevant information connected to their portal experience. These features sit alongside clinical care tasks rather than replacing discussions with a clinician.
Questionnaires can be completed from the app when they are assigned as part of care preparation. This gives patients a practical way to provide requested information before a visit and keep routine administrative tasks together.
Use a U-M Health patient account
The app is designed for people receiving care through U-M Health and using the MyUofMHealth patient portal. Access to personal records, messages, and care tasks depends on the appropriate patient account and the services available to that account.
MyUofMHealth is not an emergency-care tool. Patients with urgent or life-threatening symptoms should use emergency services or the care route advised by their health provider rather than relying on a portal message.
