Create or Join a Team Workspace
GS Teams gives new groups two clear starting points: join an existing team with an invitation code or create a team before league and event details are available. Coaches and managers can begin a workspace, while players, parents, and other followers use access supplied by their organization. This keeps membership connected to the correct club rather than relying on an open team search.
The welcome flow places Join Existing Team and Create New Team side by side, with separate fields for a recognizable team name and a 10- or 20-character code. League and event administrators use a separate dashboard, so the mobile app stays focused on people directly involved with a team.
Schedules, Scores, and Season Details
Once a team is connected, GS Teams brings games, practices, events, results, and season information into one schedule. Members can check upcoming commitments, follow live scores, review standings and league statistics, and return to completed games for scoresheets, box scores, and summaries. The timeline helps families and staff understand what is happening before and after game day.
Calendar syncing can place team commitments in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or another calendar app that accepts a subscription link. Coaches can also add practices and non-game events for members with team access. This makes the app useful both for quick score checks and for planning a full week around travel, training, and competition.
Rosters, Availability, and Member Access
Roster tools help coaches and managers keep players and bench staff organized through the season. Team staff can add or edit members, track player availability, and invite additional coaches, parents, players, or followers. Multi-team support also lets one account move among several teams, which is practical for families with multiple athletes or staff working across programs.
Invitation access keeps each roster tied to the intended team, while linked teams can share membership across related seasons or events. Managers can make corrections without leaving the team workspace and keep schedules, roster details, and participant access together. These controls reduce the need to coordinate the same information through separate spreadsheets, email chains, and messaging groups.
Team Chat and Game-Day Coordination
GS Teams supports day-to-day coordination with team chat, member updates, event planning, and game-day information in one place. Staff and followers can participate in discussions, check schedule changes, and keep up with team activity without relying on several disconnected channels. Notifications help bring new updates back to the Android device when they matter.
The broader team hub combines practices, events, parties, game previews, scouting information, results, and player availability. Coaches can prepare for upcoming games while parents and players follow the details relevant to them. The app is best suited to organizations already using GameSheet, because invitation access connects each user to the correct team data and unlocks the season-specific workspace.
