Smart UDISE begins by tying a working session to the school details that organize its records. Teachers can enter a UDISE number, choose the relevant class standard, and add the district before continuing. This short setup makes the next screens easier to understand because student data is connected to a specific school and grade context instead of being collected as an unstructured list.
The compact Android form uses separate fields and a standard selector, followed by a single Done action. That layout suits staff who need a direct route into administrative data entry without navigating a broad school-management dashboard. It also helps reduce repeated sorting when records must later be prepared for reporting.
Search and Manage Student Entries
The Student Information screen provides a central list for records already entered in the app. A first-name search box helps teachers narrow a larger register, while visible columns for general registration number and stream support quick identification. When new records are needed, an Add New Entries button opens the data form; a separate Delete control supports list cleanup.
This list-based workflow is useful when several students from the same class need to be prepared in one session. Staff can move between reviewing existing entries and creating another record instead of rebuilding the school context each time. Keeping search, addition, and deletion together makes routine corrections and follow-up work more manageable.
Record Personal and Admission Details
Each new student entry is organized into sections that mirror common school records. The Personal area includes first, middle, and last name, date of birth, gender, parent-name fields, and Aadhaar applicability. A General section continues with current standard, stream, BPL status, and checkboxes for government support such as transport, uniform, and attendance-related aid.
Admission fields add the general register number, admission date, initial admission standard, and admission type. Clear and Save actions remain available as staff work through the form. By grouping identity, family, class, assistance, and enrollment details, Smart UDISE gives school teams a consistent structure for preparing complete student records.
Create CSV Data for SARAL Uploads
Smart UDISE is designed to turn the student details collected on Android into CSV files that can be used with the SARAL site. This output-focused workflow is valuable for teachers and administrators who would otherwise need to prepare the same fields manually on a computer or coordinate scattered notes before reporting. The app's school setup and student forms provide the structured input for that transfer.
A practical routine is to verify the UDISE number, class, district, names, register number, and admission fields before creating the file. Careful review matters because these records can contain sensitive student information. Staff should handle exported files only through their institution's authorized process and correct incomplete entries before upload.
