Discover a PC or Enter Its Address
The Viewer can look for a spacedesk primary machine on the local network and list an available server for quick selection. If automatic discovery does not find the computer, the plus control opens a manual connection form where users can enter the primary PC's IP address. This offers a direct fallback for networks where device discovery is limited.
Connections can use Wi-Fi, LAN, or a supported USB path, but the Windows computer must have the spacedesk Driver installed and active. LAN use normally places both devices on the same network, while USB can provide a wired option for compatible Android setups. Keeping the Viewer and Windows Driver current helps avoid version mismatches before starting a display session.
Control Windows with Touch and Input Tools
spacedesk is more than a passive display when remote input is enabled.
