Track time your way
Clockify opens with a Time Tracker that supports a running timer, manual entries, and break tracking. The interface also includes a Pomodoro tab, giving people a focused way to log work sessions without filling a list by hand.
Use it to build a daily record around tasks, client work, or personal projects. The empty-state view makes it clear where new entries will appear, while the quick actions keep timer, manual, and break options within reach.
Plan work around projects and budgets
The onboarding flow presents project profitability, budget planning, payroll management, and client billing as core use cases. That makes the app a practical fit for freelancers, teams, and managers who need time records to support work planning.
Choose the workflow that matches your goal during setup, then continue into the tracker to begin recording time. The app is designed for people who want one place to organize work activity before turning it into a timesheet or project view.
Adjust reminders and calendar behavior
The App settings screen includes an optional reminder for starting and stopping time tracking, plus calendar integration controls. It also offers a working-days-only option for calendar-related planning.
You can choose a system-default theme and language from the same settings area. A forced offline mode is available as a separate switch, which helps keep the tracking workflow accessible when an internet connection is not desired.
Start with the features you need
The first-run flow asks what you want to accomplish, including accurate client billing, project budgeting, payroll management, employee screen or location monitoring, progress tracking, and kiosk clock-in or clock-out. These choices help frame the product for different work setups.
The app opens to the Time Tracker screen. Some business features may depend on workspace setup or account access after the initial experience.
