Load Visibility for Assigned Trips
Alvys gives drivers a mobile view of the work that matters next. After signing in, the home screen brings assigned and upcoming trips together with pickup and delivery locations, scheduled times, load details, and instructions, so a driver can review the day without waiting for a separate call or message. Opening a trip leads into its load information and keeps the next action close at hand.
This workflow is useful for owner-operators and fleet drivers who need to move between dispatch updates and the road. Real-time information from the Alvys transportation management system helps the driver and office work from the same load record, while a clear trip list makes it easier to find the correct assignment when several stops are active.
Facility Check-In and Availability
The Driver Companion app links availability and facility progress to the driver's daily route. A driver can switch between Online and Offline status to tell dispatchers when assignments are welcome or when a break is in progress. At a pickup or delivery location, check-in and check-out actions keep the load status moving through the workflow instead of relying on repeated phone updates.
Location-aware check-in is designed for arrival confirmation, with a proximity rule that asks the driver to move closer when the facility is too far away. Check-out is more flexible after work is complete. Together, these tools give drivers a practical way to communicate progress while leaving the office a current view of availability and stop status.
Trip Documents and Payment Records
Paperwork can be attached to the relevant load as the trip progresses. Drivers can choose a document type and upload a photo or an existing file for items such as a Bill of Lading, Proof of Delivery, Proof of Pickup, receipts, manifests, trip reports, or scale tickets. Camera and gallery options make the workflow useful when a document is created at a stop or already saved on the phone.
The app also brings financial information into the driver workspace. Paystubs and per-load payment details help drivers follow what they have earned, while eChecks provide a direct way to issue electronic payments. Keeping documents and payment records near each load can reduce loose paperwork and make follow-up with the office more straightforward.
Driver Setup and On-the-Road Support
Alvys is built for drivers whose access depends on a fleet or carrier account rather than an open consumer profile. The welcome flow asks for the phone number registered by the company administrator, and the app can connect the driver to the assigned role and trip information once that profile is ready. This keeps work data tied to the correct person and organization.
For everyday use, the app suits truck drivers who want fewer dispatch calls, clearer stop instructions, and a single place for trip paperwork and payment updates. It is especially useful between pickup and delivery milestones, when a quick status update, document upload, or load review can keep the wider operation moving.
