Account Balances, Activity, and Statements
Fifth Third gives customers a consolidated view of everyday account information after login. Users can check balances, review recent debit and credit activity, follow pending credit card transactions, and open account details without moving between separate banking services. Longer history helps with routine budgeting, payment review, and spotting a transaction that needs attention.
Statements and alerts extend that daily overview. Customers can access up to 24 months of statements, choose electronic delivery, and set notifications for card spending, low balances, suspicious activity, or upcoming payments. These controls make the app useful both for quick balance checks and for ongoing account monitoring throughout the month.
Bill Payments, Transfers, and Zelle
Money movement is organized around common banking tasks. Customers can transfer funds between eligible accounts, add payees, and schedule bill payments from the Android app. Keeping these actions beside balances and transaction history makes it easier to confirm available funds before sending a payment or moving money.
Zelle adds person-to-person transfers using an email address or mobile number, so enrolled users can send or receive money without sharing account details with each other. Availability and timing can depend on account eligibility and recipient enrollment. For regular expenses, family payments, or moving funds between accounts, the app keeps the main transfer choices within one signed-in workflow.
Mobile Check Deposit and Card Controls
Mobile deposit turns a paper check into an in-app banking task. After choosing Deposit and New Deposit, customers select an eligible account, photograph the front and back of the endorsed check, enter the amount, review funds-availability choices, and confirm the submission. The guided sequence reduces the need for a branch or ATM visit when a check meets the bank's deposit requirements.
Account management tools cover recurring card and profile tasks as well. Customers can activate cards, change a card PIN, update a user ID, manage statement delivery, and adjust alerts. These controls are especially useful when a card arrives, contact preferences change, or paper statements are no longer needed.
Biometric Access, Support, and Branch Finder
The login screen supports a User ID and password, with an optional biometric shortcut for returning customers. Fingerprint access can be enabled after a normal login through Profile, SmartShield Security, and Manage Login. A Remember Me option and a Forgot Login link also keep common access and recovery actions close to the sign-in form.
Several useful destinations remain easy to reach before account access. Customers can open Fifth Third support, start account registration, or search for nearby branches and ATMs. The locator supports search, list, filter, and map views, while location access can help identify nearby results. Together, these entries connect digital banking with account help and in-person service.
