Signing in automatically brings account-based calendars together, while people with a shareable calendar link can connect it directly. This makes the app useful when several schedules need to remain easy to open without bookmarking separate web addresses.
The mobile start screen also offers Continue without account, and the dashboard menu provides clear choices to connect an existing calendar or create a new one. Calendar creation and detailed administration continue in the browser, while the Android app acts as the everyday companion for opening connected schedules and moving between them from one place.
Create and Update Detailed Events
Once a calendar is connected, Teamup supports the daily work of viewing, creating, editing, and sharing events. Users can add titles, dates, times, repeating rules, descriptions, custom fields, and signups, then attach images or documents when a schedule entry needs more context. An event can also belong to multiple sub-calendars, which helps one activity appear wherever the relevant people or resources need it.
Comments keep discussion beside the event instead of scattering updates across separate messages. Access rights determine whether someone can only read, add new entries, or modify existing ones, so the same calendar can serve administrators, contributors, and viewers without giving every participant identical control.
Switch Views and Filter Busy Schedules
Different planning jobs need different perspectives, so the mobile app offers List, Day, Week, Month, and Tiles views. A compact list works well for scanning upcoming items, while time-grid and month layouts make overlaps and open periods easier to spot. Users can switch views from the calendar sidebar and hide unrelated sub-calendars when a shared schedule becomes crowded.
Search and filtering narrow events by keyword, custom field, or sub-calendar. Color coding adds another quick way to distinguish teams, projects, locations, or resources, and time-zone support keeps event times understandable for distributed groups. Together, these controls help users move from a broad shared calendar to the exact slice of work they need.

Synced calendars remain readable offline, including event details available before connectivity was lost, and offline updates can synchronize after the connection returns.
