Choose Pickup or Delivery by Location
Taco Bell begins each order with a restaurant or delivery location, because menus, prices, and availability can vary by area. Users can switch between Pickup and Delivery, search by address, city, or ZIP code, and confirm a nearby restaurant before adding food. This keeps the ordering path tied to a location that can actually prepare or deliver the selected items.
The Home screen keeps the fulfillment toggle visible and places Start Order within easy reach. Once a location is selected, customers can move into the local menu and build an order for their preferred handoff. This workflow suits planned meals, quick pickup on the way home, or delivery when an eligible address is available, without requiring users to begin again on a separate ordering service.
Customize Meals and Save Favorites
Taco Bell's menu tools are designed for customers who want more control than selecting a fixed meal. Users can browse food categories, adjust eligible ingredients or options, and save favorite combinations for quicker repeat ordering. Customization is especially useful when a regular order has specific add-ons, removals, or quantities that would be tedious to rebuild every time.
After items are prepared, the app supports paying ahead and tracking the order so customers can see when pickup is ready or delivery is moving. Keeping menu selection, customization, payment, and status within the same workflow reduces switching between screens or services. It also makes the app practical for households placing a detailed group order as well as individuals repeating a familiar lunch or late-night choice.
Earn Points and Redeem Food Rewards
The Rewards area turns qualifying orders into points and food rewards for signed-in members. Customers can create or enter a Taco Bell account, then use eligible purchases to build progress toward redeemable items. App-only offers and special promotions add another reason to check this area before ordering, while the dedicated Rewards tab keeps benefits separate from the menu and checkout flow.
Reward use is tied to the member account, so signing in before a qualifying digital order helps connect the purchase with the correct profile. The app also supports receipt-based point entry or scanning for qualifying in-store purchases where available. For regular customers, this creates a repeat-use loop: order, earn, review available rewards, and choose one that fits a future visit.
Check In and Manage Repeat Visits
The bottom navigation brings Home, Menu, Rewards, Check In, and Profile into one consistent route. Check In gives restaurant visitors a dedicated entry point, while Profile holds account access and support links. Users can also revisit saved locations and account details instead of treating each order as a first-time session, which is useful for people who rotate between home, work, and nearby Taco Bell restaurants.
Location settings help show nearby restaurants, local pricing, menus, and availability, while notifications can surface offers, events, order information, and menu updates when enabled. These controls let customers decide how much convenience they want from the app. Frequent visitors can keep repeat tasks close at hand, while occasional users can focus on finding a restaurant, placing one order, and checking its progress.
