Send Large Files from the Transfer Hub
SwissTransfer turns an Android phone into a practical starting point for delivering videos, RAW photos, presentations, archives, and other large items. Users begin from the Sent area, tap the prominent add button, choose the material they want to share, and prepare one transfer instead of splitting files across several messages. Transfers can contain up to 50 GB, which makes the workflow useful for creative work, business handoffs, and personal collections.
The main navigation keeps Sent, Received, and My account within easy reach. This simple structure helps users move from creating a delivery to checking incoming material or managing their profile without searching through nested menus.
Share by Email, Link, or QR Code
A prepared transfer can be delivered in the format that best matches the recipient. SwissTransfer supports email delivery, a shareable link for messaging apps, and a QR code that another person can scan. That flexibility works for remote clients, coworkers in a chat, or someone standing nearby who needs access without typing a long address.
The onboarding flow introduces these options before the transfer dashboard, so the sharing routes are easy to understand from the beginning. A link can move through apps such as WhatsApp or Signal, while email provides a more formal handoff and QR sharing keeps in-person exchanges quick.
Set Expiry, Download Limits, and Passwords
SwissTransfer gives senders control over how long a delivery remains available and how recipients can access it. Before sharing, users can add a message, choose an expiration period, limit the number of downloads, and protect the transfer with a password. These settings help match a casual family share, a time-sensitive client delivery, or a file handoff that should not remain open indefinitely.
Transfers may remain active for up to 30 days, giving recipients time to retrieve larger files without turning the link into permanent storage. The settings also make it easier to communicate context and apply a sensible access boundary before the link leaves the phone.
Track Sent and Received Transfers
The Sent and Received sections organize transfers after the first share. Sent provides a place to follow active outgoing deliveries and check when files have been accessed, while Received collects incoming transfers from the previous 30 days. This separation helps users understand whether they are waiting for a recipient or looking for material someone else shared with them.
My account adds sign-in, settings, support, and service information without making registration the only way into the transfer screens. Together, these areas suit people who exchange large files repeatedly and want a clearer mobile record than scattered email threads, chat links, or temporary browser tabs.
