Track Goals on a Match-Ready Scoreboard
Soccer Score turns an Android phone or tablet into a clear football scoreboard for training sessions, school games, club scrimmages, and informal matches. Home and away totals sit in large segmented digits, while direct score controls let the person at the touchline add a goal quickly and correct an accidental entry without navigating away from the match view.
The app offers two scoreboard designs. In the first layout, plus and minus buttons sit beside each score, and tapping a score can also add one point. The second layout keeps the display especially large: tap a score to increase it, or press and hold to subtract one. This makes fast scorekeeping manageable while attention stays on the field.
Run the Match Clock and Periods
The built-in match clock keeps game time beside the score, so a separate stopwatch is not necessary. Tapping the time starts the timer, and tapping again pauses it. Large red digits remain readable at a glance, while the timer control provides a focused way to manage starts, stoppages, and breaks during a football session.
Period controls move the board through the first half, second half, and extra-time stages. The match view also displays totals for each stage, helping users follow how the score developed across regulation and extra time. Game time and extra-time duration can be adjusted in settings, which suits youth matches, drills, shortened scrimmages, and formats that do not use standard professional timing.
Set Team Names, Colors, and Game Time
Team labels can be personalized directly from the scoreboard by tapping Home or Away and entering the names used for the match. Clear names reduce confusion when the device is placed on a bench, table, or sideline, especially when several games are being played in succession.
Scoreboard theme 1 also includes score-color controls, giving users a simple way to distinguish the two sides or improve visibility in a particular environment. Sound settings can provide button feedback or a match-ending cue, while configurable game and extra-time values let the board match local rules. Together, these options turn a generic counter into a more useful match-day display without adding a complicated setup process.
Reset, Switch, and Share During Play
During a busy match, quick recovery controls matter as much as scoring. The gear menu groups Reset All, Reset Score, and Reset Timer as separate choices, so users can clear only the part that needs to change. A Switch score action swaps the sides when teams change ends or the device position changes, avoiding manual re-entry.
The same menu provides a Share entry for passing along the current board through Android's available sharing options. Users can also move between the two scoreboard styles and rotate the presentation for a larger, cleaner view. These controls are useful for coaches, parents, volunteers, and casual referees who need a lightweight scoreboard that can be adjusted without interrupting play.
