Clocking In and Location Reports
MyConnect centers its daily workflow on timekeeping and site reporting. Securitas employees can clock in or out, record a break, and view or file reports connected to their assigned location. Keeping these actions in one Android app reduces the need to switch between paper forms, a separate timecard, and site notes during a shift.
The shift panel shows the current date, location details, a prominent Clock In action, and help for employees who have trouble recording time. Workers assigned to more than one site can select the relevant location before starting. This makes MyConnect most useful at the beginning and end of a shift, during breaks, or whenever a location report must be submitted.
Schedules, Time Off, and Pay
MyConnect gives employees a single place to review upcoming work and common payroll information. The schedule view organizes shifts by week, including site names, dates, and start or end times, while time-off tools let users check balances and submit requests. These functions help employees plan availability without relying entirely on printed schedules or back-office messages.
Pay-related tools extend the same self-service approach. Employees can view paystubs, submit payroll discrepancies, receive pay notifications, and reach faster-pay options through DailyPay when available for their account. Together, scheduling, leave, and pay tools support routine questions that often arise before a shift, after hours are posted, or when a paycheck needs closer review.
Manager Messages and Employee Requests
Communication tools help Securitas employees send job-related questions and requests through the same app they use for timekeeping. MyConnect includes messaging for district managers, uniform or supply requests, and location reporting, giving users a clearer route for tasks that would otherwise depend on calls, paper forms, or separate email threads. This is especially useful when a request needs to be tied to a particular site or work assignment.
Employee Tools adds access to practical reference material, including a handbook PDF. In-app notices and global announcements can also surface company information without requiring users to search multiple portals. These entries give MyConnect a broader role as an employee workspace, not just a basic clock-in screen.
OneID Access, Alerts, and Languages
MyConnect is designed for active Securitas employees and uses an existing OneID account instead of offering public registration. The sign-in flow can hand identity verification to Okta, then return authorized users to their employee tools. This account boundary keeps schedules, pay details, reports, and manager messages connected to the correct workplace identity.
Notification controls support pay notices, general announcements, and other employee updates, while the app's language choices include English, Spanish, and French. Users can follow the device's system language or choose a supported option in Android settings. For employees working across sites or managing changing schedules, these controls make important updates easier to follow and keep the interface usable in a preferred language.
