Schedule Visits and Prepare Before Arrival
myACPNY gives AdvantageCare Physicians patients a direct way to arrange regular or follow-up appointments with primary care providers and participating specialists. Appointment history keeps past visits together, while the scheduler helps users move from finding a suitable visit to reserving a time without calling the office. For eligible appointment types, the same account can also support virtual visits.
Before an in-person visit, Express Check-In can be used to confirm contact details, medications, and allergies, then handle a copay when required. The Hello Patient option can notify front-desk staff after arrival. Together, these tools reduce repetitive paperwork and help patients arrive with important information already reviewed.
Message Care Teams and Renew Prescriptions
Secure messaging lets patients send non-urgent questions to their provider or Care Team from inside the account. A message can be directed to an available recipient, given a subject, and supplemented with an attachment, which is useful for follow-up questions about recent results or care instructions. The service is intended for routine communication, not emergencies.
Medication management adds another practical route for ongoing care. Patients can review listed medicines and request eligible prescription renewals for the Care Team to process. Referral authorizations can also appear as soon as they are ready, avoiding a wait for mailed paperwork. This combination makes the portal useful between appointments, especially when a request does not require an immediate call.
Review Results, History, and Family Records
Health information is organized around a patient's ongoing record. Users can review available test results, medications, allergies, visit summaries, immunization details, and annual screening information from the same account. Some results may be held until the Care Team is ready to discuss them, but available records give patients a practical reference when preparing questions or following a treatment plan.
Family access extends the same approach to linked accounts. Parents or caregivers can manage permitted family records without maintaining a separate routine for every person, while linked healthcare organizations can bring selected allergies, medications, appointments, messages, and results into one view. This is especially helpful for households coordinating several providers and recurring visits.
Manage Payments and Everyday Care Tasks
Billing tools place balances, copays, and paperless statements alongside other patient tasks. Homepage notices can point to an outstanding balance, and users can review available payment options before completing a credit-card or supported wallet payment. Keeping bills near appointment and record tools makes it easier to finish administrative work while the related visit is still fresh.
The portal also supports practical care planning beyond bills. Patients can look for provider locations, review visit history, use the Wait List for earlier appointment opportunities, and consult the Symptom Checker for guidance on an appropriate type of care. Eligible self-tracking programs can accept health and fitness data through Health Connect, giving participants another way to share relevant measurements.
