Review Glucose Patterns Over Time
Dexcom Clarity organizes retrospective CGM data into patterns, trends, and key statistics instead of presenting only a stream of individual readings. Users can review recent periods, compare time in range, and look for recurring highs or lows that may be useful to discuss during routine diabetes care. The Summary area brings the main progress indicators together in one place.
This historical view is most useful between appointments, when a broader picture can be easier to interpret than isolated numbers. Date-range controls support short and longer reviews, while pattern and metric summaries help users prepare focused questions for a healthcare professional. The app supports reflection and reporting; it does not replace real-time CGM alerts or medical advice.
Build and Export Clarity Reports
Reports turn stored glucose information into documents that can be reviewed outside the main dashboard. Users can choose a date range and select the report types they want, then view the results as graphs and statistics. This makes it practical to examine a recent week, compare a longer period, or prepare a record before a clinic visit.
Dexcom Clarity also provides options to save, print, or email reports, so the same information can move from the phone to a personal archive or care discussion. Report output is especially useful for people who want a consistent format instead of manually collecting readings. Available report content depends on the data connected to the user's Dexcom account.
Track Time in Range Goals
The Goals area helps users follow Time in Range progress and review their Best Day data. Rather than treating every reading as a separate result, these goal views summarize how glucose values are distributed across a selected period. That structure can make progress easier to revisit and can highlight questions worth raising with a clinician.
Profile controls add a recurring-review layer through daily or weekly notifications and email summaries when data and internet access are available. Users can also adjust target-range viewing preferences within Clarity. Those display settings support personal review, but they do not change CGM alarms or alerts and should not be treated as instructions for medication or treatment changes.
Share Data with Your Clinic
Clinic sharing gives Dexcom Clarity users a direct way to make reports and sensor data available to a participating healthcare team. After receiving a Clinic Code, users can open Profile, choose the data-sharing controls, enter the code, review the clinic details, and confirm the connection. This can reduce the need to rebuild the same history during an appointment.
Connected-clinic management remains under the user's profile, including the option to review or stop a sharing relationship. If a provider does not use a Clarity clinic account, reports can still be exported or emailed for discussion. Sharing is designed to support conversations with qualified healthcare professionals while keeping account access and connection choices visible to the user.
