Internet access is required for Share and Follow, and the account owner controls who receives access.
Dexcom Clarity is also integrated into the G7 connections workflow. Users can link a Clarity Clinic, share information with a participating care team, and view summary insights that combine current and retrospective patterns. Digital Health integrations can connect glucose information with supported health or lifestyle apps and devices, although available integrations vary by region.

New users can create an account, while existing users can log in; guardian options allow an adult account to add someone in their care. Country of residence, language, and ZIP code are part of setup because available resources and features can differ by location.
