Pre-Cruise Planning and Check-In
Carnival HUB gives travelers a single place to prepare for a sailing before embarkation. Guests can sign in with a Carnival account, add an existing booking, follow a cruise countdown, complete online check-in tasks, and reach boarding documents without switching between printed confirmations and separate planning pages.
Planning tools also cover reservable parts of the trip, including shore excursions, spa services, drink packages, gifts, and selected dining options. A traveler can review upcoming plans and booking details while there is still time to make changes. This makes the app especially useful during the final days before departure, when confirmations, reservations, and travel documents need to stay easy to find.
Daily Events, Planner, and Ship Maps
Once aboard, Carnival HUB becomes a day-by-day guide to what is happening around the ship. Guests can browse scheduled activities, mark favorite events, and use reminders to avoid missing shows, games, or other plans. Reservations are collected in My Planner, which helps a travel party see the shape of the day without carrying a printed schedule.
Searchable ship maps help locate venues and key areas on unfamiliar decks, while itinerary details provide ship time, port arrival and departure information, and daily weather. These tools are designed for quick checks between activities. Connecting to Carnival Wi-Fi unlocks the onboard experience, so guests can move from planning to navigation as the cruise day changes.
Dining Menus, Reservations, and Food Orders
Food planning is built into the onboard workflow rather than treated as a separate task. Guests can view restaurant and bar information, scan QR codes for food and drink menus, make eligible reservations, or check in for a restaurant when they are ready. Table-ready notifications reduce the need to wait beside a host stand.
On supported ships and venues, the app can also handle food delivery requests, including pizza delivery to selected onboard locations. Dining options and availability can vary by ship and sailing, so each guest should use the entries shown for the current itinerary. Keeping menus, reservation times, and status updates together makes meal planning easier for families and groups.
Onboard Chat, Account, and Cruise Updates
Carnival HUB helps guests stay coordinated after connecting to the ship’s local network. Optional chat lets family and friends message one another onboard, while real-time notifications can surface event reminders and other cruise updates even when the app is not in the foreground. Chat activation may have a small additional fee, and age-based consent rules apply to younger guests.
The account area can display Sail & Sign balance information, booking details, and other voyage-specific controls. Safety and departure tools may include muster guidance, virtual queues, and debarkation time reservations, depending on the ship and itinerary. These features suit groups that want a shared communication point and quick access to practical cruise information throughout the day.
