TouchTunes starts by connecting music choices to a real venue. Users can allow location access, choose the United States or Canada, and browse a map for nearby bars, restaurants, or hangout spots with a compatible jukebox. Places can be filtered through All, Favorites, and Recent views, which helps regular users return to familiar locations without repeating the same search.
A venue must appear in the service before the phone can control its music. The Places tab makes that relationship clear, while the location control can recenter the map when the user moves. If no venue is available in the current area, the app can still be explored, but a participating jukebox is needed to send songs into an on-site queue.
Search Music and Manage the Queue
Once connected to a venue, users can search for songs and artists, browse curated collections, and pick music for the local jukebox. Home, Explore, Favorites, and Playlists organize the catalog into practical routes, so a familiar track or a new artist can be found without scrolling through one long list. Selected songs can then be added to the venue queue from the phone.
The player shows the running queue, including who selected a song and where a choice sits in the order. Song Upgrade and Fast Pass options can move a track forward when available, while saved favorites and personal playlists make repeat visits faster. Together, these controls turn the Android app into a remote for shaping the venue soundtrack.
Save Favorites and Follow the Crowd
Music discovery extends beyond typing a title into search. TouchTunes can surface top plays, recent plays, song collections, and artist pages, giving users several ways to revisit familiar choices or find something that fits the room. Favorites keep dependable picks close, while playlists let a group prepare a sequence instead of deciding on every song at the last moment.
The Social area adds a crowd-focused view of the night. Users can explore places to see what is happening, follow listening activity, and react to songs with emojis when those options are available. This combination works well for friends who want to coordinate the mood, notice popular tracks, and keep the jukebox experience connected to the people around them.
Turn Song Plays into Rewards
TouchTunes Rewards gives repeat jukebox use a progression layer. Qualifying song plays and challenges can earn points toward free credits, so regular visitors have goals beyond choosing the next track. The Rewards tab keeps these benefits separate from music search, making it easier to review available opportunities before returning to the Play area.
Credits sit at the center of sending songs to a participating jukebox, and the wallet keeps a user's balance accessible across visits. Reward availability, challenge timing, and credit requirements can vary, but the structure gives frequent users a reason to return and track their activity.
