The selection screen uses demonstration images, so the motion is easier to understand before trying it.
Both styles are designed around quick, repeatable movements rather than a dense button panel. A primary tap can control playback, while secondary taps and drags can open navigation, switch display modes, or move through comments and feeds. Adjustable gesture sensitivity helps balance responsiveness with false detections, making the setup more adaptable to different distances, lighting, postures, and phone placements.
Supported Streaming and Social Apps
Spatial Touch is aimed at places where people already spend time on a phone rather than keeping users inside a separate media library. Its supported list includes YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Coupang Play, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Tidal, with additional services depending on the plan and app version. The same gesture language can move between short videos, longer streams, social feeds, and music.
WebView mode provides another route for YouTube without Accessibility access, while supported external apps can use the broader control service. The experience is useful when a phone is positioned on a desk, stand, or counter and the user wants to keep viewing without touching the display. Service availability and playback rules still belong to each supported platform.
Pro Pointer for Hands-Free Navigation
Spatial Touch also has a deeper control layer for users who want more than basic playback. The Pro Pointer turns the gesture system into a virtual cursor for tapping and interacting with screen elements, while Pro adds more supported apps and an Always-On option. These additions help with navigation, feed browsing, and controls not covered by simple play or volume commands.
Everyday use is strongest when touching the display is awkward, such as following a recipe, eating, cleaning, or taking a break from a close-up screen. On-device processing keeps gesture recognition on the phone, and the camera is used when the service reads a hand movement. The idea stays focused: simple remote control without storing hand images.
