Users can select a hue from the circular color wheel, fine-tune the red, green, and blue mix, and move the brightness slider to match a room, desk, or display. Color-temperature and white-light shortcuts make it easier to shift from saturated color to a cleaner, softer look without rebuilding a setting from scratch.
Preset and Classic rows provide quick starting points for repeat use. A preset tile can be selected, while familiar color swatches offer immediate yellow, white, cyan, red, green, and blue choices. The result is a straightforward controller for changing connected LED strips without navigating through a long settings tree.
Style Effects for Static and Strobe Lighting
Style mode gives the lighting controller a more expressive layer than a fixed color. It offers named effects such as Yellow Strobe Flash, Cyan Strobe Flash, Purple Strobe Flash, White Strobe Flash, and Static Red, with additional static colors available as the list is browsed. Choosing an effect changes the light behavior while keeping the same vivid visual control surface.
A speed slider lets users tune how quickly a dynamic effect moves, and a separate brightness control keeps the result comfortable for the room. This makes Style useful for parties, decorative corners, streaming backgrounds, or a calm color wash before switching back to a simple preset. The interface keeps effect selection and intensity adjustments close together, so experimenting feels quick rather than technical.
Music and Microphone Rhythm Modes
Music mode turns the app into a lightweight light-and-sound player for connected strips. Users can browse a track list with familiar play, previous, next, repeat, and progress controls, then let a selected song accompany the lighting experience. Track rows can include names, artists, and durations, making a playlist-style session easier to follow than a single trigger button.
Mic mode offers a separate live-response path. A large microphone meter displays the current sound level, and users can choose the phone microphone or an external microphone before starting a rhythm scene. These controls suit parties, workouts, and music listening when the lights should react to sound, giving the same hardware a more lively role than a static color display.
Schedules and Multi-Light Group Management
Schedule turns color control into a repeatable routine. Users can set a start time, choose days from Monday through Sunday, and keep separate Schedule On and Schedule Off entries for recurring lighting behavior. This is useful for wake-up ambience, evening wind-downs, desk setups, or a room that should be ready before someone arrives.
Group Manage brings several light devices into one place. The panel offers a group-add action, a My Devices list, refresh control, and a device status indicator, giving users a simple way to organize more than one strip. Together, schedules and grouping make Lotus Lantern more than a color picker: it can support regular household scenes and coordinated lighting changes without making each device a separate task.
