SonicWall Mobile Connect 5.0.26 is an Android VPN client for reaching private corporate or academic resources through encrypted SSL VPN connections. Its connection area gives users a place to add a gateway profile, while the Monitor tab presents connection information and status. Settings collects startup connection, automatic reconnect, URL control, bookmarks, files, logs, device information, and Email Logs. This release adds an edge-to-edge Android interface and DTLS over UDP for VPN connections to compatible UTM appliances. The client requires Android 11 or higher and a concurrent user license on a compatible SonicWall firewall or Secure Mobile Access deployment, so the organization’s gateway and access policy remain part of the setup.
Secure access to private network resources
The client creates encrypted SSL VPN connections to private corporate or academic networks. It is intended for approved resources such as email, virtual desktop sessions, and other Android applications, giving remote workers and students one managed mobile access path.
Profiles, monitoring, and connection controls
Users can add a connection profile, check connection information in Monitor, and adjust Startup Connection, Automatic Reconnect, and URL Control in Settings. Bookmarks, Files, Logs, Device Info, and Email Logs keep supporting tasks near the main VPN workflow.
Updated Android and DTLS support
Version 5.0.26 adds edge-to-edge display and DTLS over UDP for VPN connections to compatible UTM appliances. These improvements are relevant to deployments already using SonicWall infrastructure; the app still depends on the organization’s compatible appliance, license, and access policy.
