Monitoring adds a quick status view for the selected connection, with a connection-information area and an explicit state such as connected or disconnected. Automatic Reconnect and Settings

URL Control adds another connection preference for deployments that use managed web access rules.

Version 5.0.26 adds edge-to-edge display for a fuller Android interface and supports DTLS over UDP for VPN connections to compatible UTM appliances. Those additions matter most to administrators and users working within an established SonicWall deployment, not to someone looking for a general consumer browsing service. The app is a good fit when an employer or school has already provided the compatible gateway, policy, and access path.
