About Send Anywhere APK

Send Anywhere is a cross-platform file transfer app for moving photos, videos, music, apps, and other files between phones and computers. Users choose items from the Send screen, then share a one-time key, scan a QR code, or use a link so another device can receive them. Nearby Android devices can also connect through Wi-Fi Direct when an internet connection is unavailable. Transfer history keeps recent activity easy to revisit, while My Link supports account-based link management. This practical mix suits quick personal transfers, large media moves, and device-to-device sharing.

Features & use cases

Send Files with a One-Time Key or QR Code

Send Anywhere starts with a simple selection workflow. The Send screen groups recent items, photos, videos, audio, apps, and other files, so users can choose what they need without preparing a special folder. After selection, the app can create a one-time six-digit key or QR code that the receiver uses to start the transfer.

This method works well for quick person-to-person sharing because the sender only needs to pass along a temporary code. It also preserves the original file rather than converting it, making the workflow useful for high-resolution photos, videos, music, documents, and Android app files when sharing them is permitted.

Receive Transfers and Track Recent Activity

The Receive tab keeps the incoming side equally direct. A recipient can enter the six-digit key supplied by the sender or tap the QR scanner to capture the code, reducing the need to search through messages or configure shared folders. The app then saves received items to the selected device, keeping the incoming workflow in the same interface.

A separate History view records transfer activity and includes filtering, which helps users return to recent sends or receipts and distinguish completed actions from an empty queue. This is useful when moving several batches between devices, checking whether a particular transfer appeared, or repeating the same phone-to-computer routine over time.

Use Wi-Fi Direct When Internet Access Is Limited

Wi-Fi Direct gives nearby Android devices another transfer route when mobile data or an internet connection is unavailable. The sender enables Wi-Fi Direct, selects the files, and generates a QR code; the receiving Android device scans that code to join the nearby transfer. Both devices need the app and must remain close enough for the connection.

This option is valuable for large media batches, travel, or locations with unreliable connectivity because the two phones communicate locally. It also gives Android users a focused alternative when they do not want the transfer to depend on cellular data. The Wi-Fi Direct workflow is best suited to nearby devices; cross-platform transfers and remote recipients can still use the key, direct-device, or link methods when a network connection is available.

Manage Links Across Phones and Computers

Send Anywhere can extend a file handoff beyond two devices through share links and device-based delivery. A link lets recipients retrieve uploaded files during its validity window, while direct-to-device delivery can notify a signed-in device without requiring the receiver to type a key. My Link provides a place to manage links associated with an account.

These choices are practical for sending a batch of project files to several people, moving photos to a computer, or keeping recurring devices easy to reach. The More menu also connects users to desktop installation, getting-started help, FAQs, feedback, and account controls. Together, these paths make the app useful for both one-off transfers and repeated cross-device sharing routines.
