The Library and Albums areas keep capture projects from becoming a flat, difficult-to-search list. Users can create an album, add a name and optional description, and separate work by client, site, object type, assignment, or personal project. This structure is useful when the same phone is collecting reference models across several jobs.
A dedicated account and menu area brings plan management, billing, measurement units, location access, theme choices, and other preferences into one place. Clear project organization and settings matter once scanning becomes a repeated workflow: albums reduce time spent hunting for past captures, while measurement and location controls help keep model context consistent for the people who will review or reuse it.
Explore Models and Team Sharing
Explore adds a community-discovery layer beyond personal capture work. Users can browse trending models, search by subject, adjust filters, and switch to a map view when location adds context. This makes the app useful for studying how other objects or spaces were captured, finding visual references, and seeing what different scanning approaches can produce.
Captures can also be shared with collaborators or published to the Polycam community when the owner chooses. Album sharing and link-based access support reviews with clients, teammates, or classmates without passing a large project file from phone to phone. For designers, contractors, artists, and 3D hobbyists, this combination connects private project organization with a broader library of ideas.
