Keep Audio and Video Playing While You Multitask
PlayBack is built for streaming a web video or audio source while the phone is doing something else. Enter a URL or search from the Home page, start a supported item, then keep listening with the screen off or while moving between apps. The workflow suits music, podcasts, interviews, and long-form video that works better as background audio.
When visual context still matters, a floating picture-in-picture window keeps the player visible above another app. PlayBack can also open shared links and continue from the same browser-style player, so a discovery made in a message or another app can become a listening session without rebuilding the search.
Search Sources and Build a Personal Home Base
The Home page combines a search field with a row of quick suggestions for services such as YouTube, YT Music, Instagram, and Facebook. You can search by topic, paste a direct address, or choose a familiar starting point when you already know where the media lives. A configurable search provider keeps that first step aligned with your normal browsing habits.
PlayBack also gives recurring sources a more organized starting place. Add a favorite, review History, browse Files, or create shortcuts for destinations you visit often. This makes the app useful for switching among channels, playlists, websites, and other web media without relying on a single fixed catalog.
Save Favorites, Playlists, and Quick Access
Favorites turns saved pages and media sources into a short list for quick return visits. The Add New action provides a direct way to store another destination, while History helps recover something opened recently. Files offers a separate entry for local content, keeping saved links and device media easier to distinguish.
For longer listening routines, PlayBack supports playlists and sharing so related items can be collected or passed to someone else. Reordering a playlist or returning to a familiar favorite is more efficient than searching again, whether the collection is for a study session, a commute, a podcast queue, or a personal music rotation.
Tune Playback for Everyday Listening
Settings let everyday listening follow the way you use the phone. Choose a theme, set the app language, select a search platform, and disable swipe-to-refresh when accidental gestures are a nuisance. The Equalizer entry is intended to improve device audio, while Night Screen reduces bright blue-light output for late sessions.
Premium adds optional controls for users who want a more tailored routine. The upgrade page lists loop playback, a sleep timer, custom shortcuts, and an ad-free experience, with monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchase choices. These options make PlayBack flexible for short background sessions as well as longer, hands-off listening. They are useful when a session needs less manual control.
