The feed also supports sorting, making it easier to review recent reports in a consistent order. Distance and time chips such as Within 25 miles and Last 3 months keep the active search criteria visible. That matters when someone is checking repeatedly during a search or watching for an animal that may have been found nearby.
Report a Pet and Spread Local Alerts
When a pet goes missing or a stray animal is found, PawBoost turns the report into a local awareness workflow. Registered users can add a photo, pet details, and the last-seen or found location, then create an alert for the lost-and-found database. The same report can reach nearby app users and email subscribers, giving owners and finders more ways to make a useful connection.
PawBoost also creates shareable material around a report, including local social posts and a printable flyer. A prominent Report control keeps this urgent task close to the main feed. Pet owners can update the listing as the search develops, and marking a case reunited helps close the loop for everyone following it.
Join Rescue Squad and Follow Happy Tails
People who want to help beyond their own pet can use the Rescue Squad area to follow nearby lost and found cases. Happy Tails adds the outcome side of that community work. Reunited cards show a pet's name, location, reaction and comment activity, and a message from the owner, with options to read more or share the story.
