Lemuroid 1.17.0 is a multi-system Android emulator for players who want one library for legally owned ROMs across phones, tablets, and TV-style devices. The Home view lets users scan a ROM directory, search the collection, open Favorites or Systems, and continue with save states rather than managing each emulator separately. This release adds a new touch-control design, microphone support for Nintendo DS, immersive mode with a dynamic background color, improved HD mode, quicksave and quickload gamepad shortcuts, 16 KB page support, best-effort saves when moving to the background, and refreshed cores and databases. Android 6.0 or newer is required. The app does not bundle games, so users need compatible ROM files of their own; system performance varies by console and device.
Quicker touch control for handheld play
Lemuroid 1.17.0's redesigned touch controls give phone and tablet players a more adaptable way to play without a controller. Button placement and sizing can be tuned for the hands and display, while immersive mode changes the surrounding background color to keep the play area visually focused.
Save states and controller shortcuts
Save states remain central to Lemuroid's pause-and-resume workflow, and version 1.17.0 adds quicksave and quickload shortcuts for supported gamepads. Best-effort background saves also help protect progress when Android moves the app out of the foreground, making short sessions easier to leave and return to.
One library across classic systems
The emulator keeps ROM scanning, system grouping, Search, and Favorites in one library instead of splitting collections across separate apps. Lemuroid 1.17.0 also refreshes its cores and databases, so players can move among supported Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation, arcade, and handheld systems from a consistent Android interface.
