Search Art, Antiques, and Collectibles
Invaluable brings listings from auction houses into a searchable mobile marketplace. Users can look for a specific artist, seller, object, or collecting term, then move through categories such as fine art, decorative art, jewelry, and collectibles. This structure works for focused research as well as casual browsing when the next purchase has not yet been decided.
The Discover area adds suggested searches and category shortcuts, while lot cards present titles, currencies, bid counts, and auction activity. Country and price filters can narrow large result sets where available. Together, keyword search and category browsing reduce the work of checking individual auction-house catalogs one at a time.
Follow Searches and Build a Watchlist
Collectors can follow keywords, artists, sellers, and categories so new matching lots are easier to revisit. A followed search turns a broad interest, such as paintings or watches, into a recurring feed instead of requiring the same query on every visit. Favoriting individual items also helps separate serious prospects from general browsing.
The Following area collects recommended lots and saved interests in one place. Email and mobile alerts can report new matches, approaching lots, outbid activity, and auction registration updates. These tools are useful for collectors tracking uncommon objects that may appear irregularly across different sellers and sales each week.
Join Live Sales or Leave Maximum Bids
Invaluable supports both real-time auction participation and bids placed before a sale begins. After registering with the relevant auction house and receiving approval, users can enter a live bidding console as lots progress. For buyers who cannot attend at the scheduled time, a maximum bid can be left in advance so the platform raises the bid by the required increments up to that limit.
The Auctions tab provides a direct route to upcoming and active sales. Timed auctions remain open for a defined period, while live sales follow an auctioneer's pace. Reviewing the lot description, condition information, buyer's premium, shipping terms, and currency before bidding helps collectors set a practical ceiling.
Manage an Account and Auction Alerts
Browsing and searching are available before signing in, but personalized tools depend on an Invaluable account. The Account area supports email sign-in as well as Google and Apple options, while the Following tab prompts users to create an account before saving interests. This separation lets newcomers explore the marketplace before deciding whether they need bidding or tracking features.
Account settings bring together notification preferences, saved interests, auction registrations, and bid-related updates. Users can decide which alerts matter, including notices for outbid activity, an approaching saved lot, approval status, or a sale starting soon. The result is a more organized workflow for collectors monitoring several auctions at once.
