Indycall's main workflow is a phone dialer for reaching Indian numbers rather than another app user. After signing in, users can open Dialpad, enter a number beginning with +91, and press Call. The interface keeps the keypad prominent and shows the available calling time before a connection is attempted, which helps users understand the session before committing to it.
The service is designed around short, practical calls. A free call can be started through the app's supported calling flow, while the recipient can answer a normal phone call without needing the same app. If the first attempt does not connect, the dialer can be tried again; special service, emergency, and unsupported short numbers are outside the intended use.
Contact Access and Recent Call History
Contacts gives Indycall a faster route to numbers you call regularly. The Contacts tab includes a search field, so users can look up a saved person instead of entering every digit on the keypad. This is useful when the goal is simply to reach a family member or another Indian contact without switching between apps.
The Recent tab keeps the calling area organized after a session. It separates recent activity from the address book and provides a dedicated empty state when there is no history to display. Together, Dialpad, Contacts, and Recent create a clear path from finding a number to repeating a familiar call, while Android permission controls determine whether the address book can be used.
Free Minutes, Indyminutes, and Offerwall Tasks
Indycall combines free calling with a minutes system that gives users more than one way to continue. The Get minutes area exposes the current balance and paths such as Free minutes, where available options can be opened through a Try it action. Users can check the available calling credit before starting another conversation instead of guessing how much time remains.
Indyminutes add an optional progression layer for people who want fewer interruptions or more call time. Depending on the account and region, minutes can be purchased or earned through advertiser tasks and surveys, while the free route remains tied to the call limits shown for a destination. This makes the app suitable for occasional calls as well as repeat use.
Account Settings and Calling Preferences
Account Settings brings identity and service controls together behind the three-dot menu. Users can review account details, find the Indycall ID used for support, and reach privacy or account-management options without leaving the main calling area. A My Number service is also described for supported accounts that want a registered caller number rather than the temporary number used by default.
The same menu exposes practical controls such as the regional blocking option and the Privacy Policy, while the balance area links back to minutes management. These controls matter when a user needs to change how calls are presented, understand account data, or manage optional minutes. Availability of caller-number features can vary by market and release.
