Share a connected network
Hotspotio introduces itself as a Wi-Fi-for-favours service that connects network sharing with social connections. Its opening guidance describes sharing a Wi-Fi connection with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn contacts in return for favours, giving the app a community-oriented purpose rather than the feel of a conventional network-settings screen.
When a network is already connected, the app presents a Share your Network prompt with a direct Share network action. This can make the next step easy to recognise for someone who wants to offer access, while still leaving a clear Cancel choice before any sharing action is taken.
Create a portable Wi-Fi hotspot
The Available hotspots area includes a prominent Create and share portable WiFi hotspot action. It puts the app's sharing option near the top of the interface instead of hiding it in a separate configuration section.
This layout is useful for people who want a simple starting point when they have a connection to share. Actual availability can depend on the phone, carrier, local network, and any permissions requested by Android.
Browse available and nearby options
Hotspotio separates Available and Nearby in its navigation. That distinction gives people two ways to begin looking for a connection: a general list of hotspots or an area focused on what is close by.
The available-hotspots view is intentionally spare in the supplied interface, so it should not be treated as a promise that a usable network will appear in every location. A working connection and nearby participating users or networks may be needed before the list becomes useful.
Profile, social settings, and help
The menu groups My profile, My shared Hotspots, and Social Settings under a profile section. Those destinations suggest a place to manage a personal presence, review shared-network activity, and adjust the app's social context without mixing those choices into the hotspot list.
Help and Show tutorial are also available from the same menu. These entries give new users a clear route to guidance before sharing a network or relying on a social connection, especially when local Wi-Fi and privacy choices need careful consideration.
