2D and 3D Drawing Review on Android
DWG FastView brings a mobile CAD workspace to Android for opening, viewing, and reviewing technical drawings away from a desktop. The Home area keeps Recent, Favorites, and Drawings easy to reach, while sample files such as Gear Pump Assembly, Revit Sample, PDF Sample, and DWG Sample make the workspace understandable at a glance.
The viewer covers 2D DWG and DXF work as well as 3D model formats used by tools such as Revit, Solidworks, Creo, NX, CATIA, Inventor, and SolidEdge. Users can inspect layouts with touch gestures, switch between local and cloud areas, and keep design information close during site visits, meetings, or quick checks.
Touch Editing, Measurement, and Annotations
Touch editing turns a phone or tablet into a practical place for small CAD decisions. Users can pan and zoom a drawing, measure objects, adjust dimensions, search text, and work with tools for moving, copying, rotating, scaling, trimming, offsetting, and changing color. Coordinate settings and snap-oriented controls help keep edits precise rather than purely visual.
The same workflow can support annotations, layers, layouts, and drawing notes when a plan needs a quick explanation or correction. Three-dimensional work adds multiple viewpoints, rotation, sectioning, and model inspection, so a field engineer or designer can review shape and context before returning to a larger workstation.
Local Files, Fonts, and Format Conversion
Local file management is central to the mobile workflow. The File area separates Local and Cloud Service views, lets users browse folders such as GstarCAD, Download, Fonts, and Work, and provides sorting, search, new-folder, and layout controls for keeping drawings organized. Recent files can be opened from the Home area, while local drawings can remain available without a network connection.
DWG FastView also handles a broad set of document and drawing formats, including DWG, DXF, PDF, BMP, JPG, PNG, and supported 3D files. Export tools can convert CAD work to PDF or image formats, and font or symbol folders help preserve the appearance of drawings that rely on less common typefaces.
Cloud Services and Cross-Device Workflows
Cloud workflows connect mobile review with work stored elsewhere. My Cloud provides an account-based space for drawings across devices, while the Cloud Service list offers sign-in entries for Dropbox, OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, Google Drive, Box, and WebDAV. This makes it easier to bring a project into the same viewing and editing environment when files move between a phone, browser, and computer.
Users can share drawings, synchronize selected work, and use collaboration-oriented features such as annotations when a project requires feedback. The side menu keeps Login/Register, Upgrade, Message, Feedback, Help, Social networks, Share APP, and About in one place, giving regular users a clear route to account management and support.
