Flycast v2.6 is an Android emulator for building a personal library of Dreamcast, Naomi, Naomi 2, Atomiswave, and System SP games. Users can add a content folder, rescan it, browse a game list, and tune presentation with OpenGL ES per-pixel rendering, widescreen output, internal resolution, scaling, filtering, and VSync choices. The release also brings Battle Cable match-code support, online play support for Outtrigger and Power Smash, UI themes, configurable BIOS and VMU paths, and broader controller options. Ten save-state slots, RetroAchievements, high-definition texture packs, modem and LAN emulation, and box-art handling support longer collections. This v2.6 XAPK requires Android 5.0 or newer; Flycast does not bundle commercial games, so add content you are entitled to use.
Add and browse a personal game library
Flycast v2.6 turns an accessible folder into a browsable library for Dreamcast, Naomi, Naomi 2, Atomiswave, and System SP content. Add a location, rescan it, and use the Games view to keep compatible titles together. The workflow also accommodates free homebrew releases, while commercial games remain content you supply yourself.
Tune rendering for each Android device
Mobile graphics controls are a major part of this release. OpenGL ES per-pixel rendering, OpenGL and Vulkan choices, transparent sorting, internal resolution, integer scaling, filtering, VSync, widescreen output, and custom texture packs let users balance accuracy and performance for each device and title.
Connect controllers and online-capable titles
v2.6 expands connected play with a Battle Cable match-code server and online support for Outtrigger and Power Smash. Controller, audio, network, UI-theme, BIOS, and VMU path settings let players adapt the emulator to touch controls, physical gamepads, arcade peripherals, and different library setups.
