Bluetooth Connection and Device Dashboard
Flipper Mobile App starts with a direct path to a Flipper Zero: turn on Bluetooth on the handheld, tap Connect, and let the phone search for a nearby device. A Skip Connection option keeps the rest of the interface available when you are preparing the hardware or simply checking the app layout.
After pairing, the device area brings firmware version, build date, SD-card usage, and connection status into one dashboard. The no-device state uses the same structure with empty values, so you can see which information will be available once a Flipper Zero is attached. This makes the app useful both for first-time setup and for quick status checks between sessions.
File Management and Capture Archives
The file workflow is designed for owners who move data between a phone and a Flipper Zero. A File Manager and Archive area can keep keys and capture files organized, while the broader companion feature set supports sharing and synchronization for NFC, Sub-GHz, infrared, and RFID material. That organization reduces the friction of moving from a handheld capture to a phone review or a later transfer.
The file manager also provides practical controls for counting items in folders, downloading files, moving items, and following upload progress. Together, those tools make it easier to retrieve a capture, tidy a device folder, or prepare a set of files without switching to a desktop utility.
Apps Catalog and Remote Tools
The bottom navigation separates Apps and Tools from the no-device dashboard, giving Flipper owners a place to browse the application catalog and reach companion utilities. The Android app’s wider toolkit includes remote input, screen streaming, and controls for saved infrared remotes, so the phone can act as a practical control surface rather than only a setup screen.
When a task involves a signal or installed application, the catalog-and-tools approach keeps discovery, device actions, and everyday management in distinct areas. Infrared remote entries can be found, saved, and used through the phone, while archive and device tabs keep stored material and hardware status close by.
Themes, Notifications, and Personal Options
Options collects the small choices that shape daily use. Color Theme offers System, Light, and Dark modes; Vibration controls in-app feedback; and Push Notifications can alert you about new firmware releases. Backup keys, Forum, GitHub, and Report Bug links keep maintenance and support within reach.
This section is useful when you want to quiet notifications, change the visual tone, or keep a backup-oriented task separate from the connection flow. The app also exposes an Experimental Options area for people who want to try advanced controls, while the main dashboard remains focused on connection, device information, and firmware-related status. These choices let new users stay with simple defaults while experienced owners tune their routine.
