Mobile File Review and Search
Figma’s mobile workspace gives designers and reviewers a practical way to find work without opening a desktop browser. Recent files and prototypes are grouped for quick scanning, while Search helps locate a file or prototype by name. Tapping an item opens its content for review, so a team member can check a layout, follow a flow, or prepare a discussion from an Android device.
The browsing routine also supports movement between pages, folders, teams, and workspaces. Files from Figma Design, FigJam, Slides, and Make can sit in the same mobile review habit, making the app useful for a morning status check, a client conversation, or a quick handoff question when a laptop is not nearby.
Prototype Playback and Frame Mirroring
Prototype playback turns an Android phone into a hands-on review surface rather than a static file viewer. Users can present connected frames, move through hotspots, restart a flow, switch starting points, adjust scaling, show or hide hints, and share a prototype link. The controls are designed for checking interactions at the size and orientation where the final experience will be used.
Mirror adds a live bridge to desktop work. A designer selects a top-level frame on the desktop, then the mobile app displays that frame at device width and reflects later edits. This is useful for checking spacing, navigation, and responsive decisions during a design session, whether the phone is on Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Comments, Sharing, and Team Access
Figma keeps review conversations close to the file. Users with viewing access can add comments to a canvas, slide, board, or prototype, mention teammates, reply to a thread, react to a message, and resolve a comment they added. The Activity area gathers comment notifications, while quick replies make it possible to answer a question without reopening the entire design immediately.
Sharing tools extend the same workflow to a wider team. A reviewer can invite collaborators, share a file link, inspect who has access, and switch between accounts or organizations when work spans several teams. These controls suit distributed design reviews, approval rounds, and small follow-ups that would otherwise wait for a desktop session.
Slides, FigJam, and Make on Android
The mobile app covers more than conventional design files. Figma Slides decks can be viewed in portrait or landscape, browsed through slide previews, zoomed with two fingers, and annotated with comments. FigJam content gives teams another way to check boards and ideas while moving between meetings, planning sessions, and feedback rounds.
Make previews add an interactive route for functional prototypes and web experiences created in Figma Make. Users can open a Make file, try its on-device interactions, share it for review, and read or reply to comments. Together, these surfaces make the Android app a flexible companion for checking work across design, presentation, brainstorming, and prototype-review tasks.
