About FlipaClip APK

FlipaClip is a 2D animation and drawing studio built for beginners, hobby artists, and creators who want to turn sketches into moving stories. Users create projects frame by frame, draw with brushes and shape tools, and refine motion with a timeline and onion-skin guides. Layers keep characters, backgrounds, and effects organized, while imported images, video, music, and recorded audio can add depth. Finished work can be made into movies or GIFs for saving and sharing. Its approachable workflow supports quick flipbooks, storyboards, animated memes, and longer cartoon ideas.

Features & use cases

Draw Frame by Frame on a Timeline

FlipaClip centers the creative process on a frame-by-frame timeline. Artists can sketch with brushes, fill areas, erase, add text or shapes, and use rulers or lasso selections to adjust parts of a drawing. Moving between frames, scrubbing the sequence, and playing it back makes the connection between each drawing and the finished motion easy to understand.

Onion skinning places translucent views of neighboring frames around the current drawing, helping users judge spacing and smooth transitions. The Frames Viewer also supports selecting, rearranging, duplicating, removing, and sharing multiple frames. These controls suit short loops, stick animations, animated memes, storyboards, and hand-drawn scenes that need careful timing without a desktop editor.

Organize Characters and Effects with Layers

Layers let creators separate characters, backgrounds, props, color, and effects so one element can change without disturbing the rest of a scene. Artists can add, reorder, rename, hide, lock, duplicate, and adjust layer opacity as a project grows. Blend modes, glow, pixel effects, clipping masks, and alpha lock provide finer control for shading and stylized finishes.

Each frame uses the project's layer structure, which keeps a sequence consistent across a timeline. Free projects can use three layers, while additional access can expand the limit to ten; merging layers helps make room when needed. This structure is useful for anime clips, character motion, layered backgrounds, and any animation where organized revisions matter.

Add Audio, Images, and Video References

Animations can combine drawings with sound and visual references. Creators can import images or video for rotoscoping, record narration, bring in compatible audio files, or choose sounds from the in-app library. Up to six audio tracks are available on Android, and clips can be positioned, trimmed, duplicated, sliced, or looped along the timeline to match action and dialogue.

Video layers and imported media help users trace motion, plan camera movement, or build scenes around recorded material. Audio playback makes it easier to time lip movement, beats, and effects before export. Together, these tools support music-led loops, voiced character scenes, reference-based movement, and short videos where sound needs to follow frame timing closely.

Export Movies and Manage Creative Projects

Once a sequence is ready, creators can make a movie from the project and adjust its name, output size, format, and playback settings. MP4 works well for common video sharing, GIF creates an animated image without project audio, and PNG sequence output supports frame-based workflows. A transparent background can also be used with compatible export formats.

Projects remain available on the device for continued editing, and project stacks help organize larger collections. Creators can share completed movies to services such as YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, or save them locally first. The combination of reusable project files, format choices, and social sharing makes FlipaClip practical for classroom exercises, creator posts, storyboards, and personal animation practice.
