EMR 1.0 is a compact Android client for an OpenEMR installation. It gives a clinic a short route from a configured host address to patient registration and retrieval: staff can add core demographics, search an existing list, and open records for maintenance. A navigation drawer keeps Home, New Patient, Show Patient, Message, and Settings close together, which suits a reception desk or a clinician moving between rooms. The package is an APK with minimum Android 4.0 support and network permissions for reaching the configured host. Android may present notification settings before the client interface; dependable use also depends on a reachable OpenEMR server.
Point the client at the computer or host running OpenEMR, then keep the phone on a network that can reach it. This creates a clear starting step for a clinic that already operates an OpenEMR service and needs a small Android entry point.
The New Patient form gathers first name, last name, city, birth date, and gender in one focused flow. A clinic can create a usable demographic record from the phone before returning to broader work in its OpenEMR system.
A searchable Patient List helps staff locate a stored entry, open its details, and keep information current. The client’s update and delete routes make it practical for quick corrections and routine record maintenance.
