Tap, Widget, and Shortcut Locking
Screen Lock is built around a simple replacement for the hardware power button: start a screen-off action from the app instead of reaching for the side key. The main controls support Admin lock and Smart lock, so users can choose the route that fits their Android setup and biometric habits. A shortcut or widget puts the action close to the home screen, while notification access keeps it available without reopening the full settings page.
The app also offers a floating widget for quick access above other apps, with a compact menu that can stay within reach during reading or browsing. The main screen separates the lock controls from explanatory links such as How to, sharing, rating, and Pro access, making it easier to find setup guidance before changing device behavior.
Sensor Triggers for Lock and Wake
Sensor-based automation is the app's more hands-free approach. Flip cover, Airswipe, Desk option, and Awesome shake are presented as separate controls, allowing the phone to lock or wake according to how it is handled. A flip cover can trigger a close/open action, a swipe above the proximity sensor can replace a button press, and desk or shake behavior can be tuned for a particular routine.
General settings also include Movement listener and related pause behavior, so the utility can avoid interrupting reading, calls, landscape games, or selected apps. These options are useful when you want the screen to remain available during a task but still respond naturally when the device is put down, moved, or picked up.
Animation, Sound, and Icon Personalization
Personalization controls make the lock action feel less abrupt. The Personalization tab lets you choose an animation, preview how it feels, adjust animation speed, and add vibration feedback when the device locks. Sound controls can add lock and unlock tones and adapt their volume to the notification channel, while Do Not Disturb behavior is respected in the supported flow.
The lock icon can also be customized, with Metallic and Material styles available for Admin lock and Smart lock shortcuts. These settings suit users who want a visible, consistent cue without changing the basic job of the utility. The dark interface groups visual, motion, and audio preferences into separate areas so small adjustments are easy to locate.
Advanced Controls for Daily Use
Advanced and Workaround tabs collect controls for phones whose sensors or lock timing need extra help. Floating widget, Flip cover, Airswipe, Desk option, and Awesome shake appear as distinct entries, while Boost sensor(s) is available for a late response after the phone has been locked or idle. Persistent notification and shortcut icon choices provide more control over background access and launcher entry points.
