The Home area brings together New Releases, Most Popular tracks, DJcity Exclusives, and curated playlists, so users can move from broad discovery to set-focused choices without sitting at their DJ computer. Monthly collections, themes, regional selections, and genre-led lists help surface tracks for club nights, weddings, radio shows, and other common performance settings.
The catalog is designed around versions DJs actually need, including edits and remixes rather than a single generic track listing. Related tracks, track updates, popularity views, and personal recommendations give users several ways to keep digging. That structure is useful when building a fresh set, replacing an overplayed song, or checking what is moving before a gig.
Artist and Track Search with Previews
Search gives DJs a direct route to an artist, title, producer, or remixer when they already know what a set needs. Results can be refined with filters for genre, BPM, key, release timing, popularity, and version type, making it easier to compare clean, dirty, intro, instrumental, acapella, and remix choices without scrolling through an unfocused catalog.
Track previews support quick listening before a selection is saved, while related-track links can extend a promising find into a broader run of compatible music. Search autocomplete, exact-match controls, and sorting options help with both precise lookups and exploratory digging. This workflow suits DJs who need to check an idea between events, during travel, or while planning a playlist away from the booth.
Crate Planning and Remote DJ Downloads
The personal crate acts as a holding area for tracks that may fit an upcoming performance. DJs can save individual versions for later, collect multiple versions of the same track, and return to those choices from the web or desktop workflow. When the DJcity Desktop App is paired with the same account, the mobile app can send selected music to a DJ laptop for downloading. Guest Access and Subscriber Music Tools
DJcity keeps basic discovery available before sign-in. Guests can browse or search the record pool and open the News area, which makes the app useful for checking the catalog and industry updates without immediately entering account details. The bottom navigation keeps Home, News, Search, Crate, and More within one tap, while the More screen provides settings, update checking, and account access.
Subscriber tools add the parts needed for a complete preparation workflow: track previews, personal crates, custom preview playlists, and remote downloads through the companion desktop software. The app uses the same credentials as the DJcity website, so an existing member can continue with one account. This split lets new users explore first while giving working subscribers stronger organization and delivery options.
