Conekt Wallet App is built for people who use mobile credentials at authorized doors, gates, or other access points. Instead of carrying a physical card or fob, a user can keep a facility-issued credential on an Android phone and present the device to a compatible Conekt reader. This makes everyday entry more convenient while keeping the credential inside the phone’s security model.
The wallet is useful for residents, employees, students, or visitors whose facility has enabled mobile access. A valid credential must be loaded before the phone can open an authorized system, so the app works as a focused access tool rather than a general-purpose payment wallet.
Bluetooth Reader Access Without Pairing
Conekt uses Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with mobile-ready readers, helping the phone detect a nearby lock and initiate an unlock when the user has permission. The reader interaction is designed to be contactless and avoids the repeated pairing steps associated with ordinary Bluetooth accessories.
This workflow fits entrances that use Conekt BLE hardware, including supported contactless reader families. In practice, the phone needs nearby-device and location access so the app can discover the reader in the surrounding area. Reader compatibility and access decisions remain tied to the facility’s configured access-control system, which makes this feature most valuable where a compatible administrator-managed reader is already installed.
Enroll and Add Credentials by Key or QR
A new user can begin by enrolling a phone with a phone number or email address and entering a one-time verification token. After enrollment, the wallet provides an add-credential path for importing an authorized mobile key rather than forcing the user to carry a separate badge.
Facility administrators issue a registration key certificate for this step. Users can enter the 16-digit key manually or scan its QR code, then submit it for processing. A successful registration adds the credential to the wallet; an invalid key needs to be corrected or reissued by the access administrator. This makes the app practical for managed buildings, campuses, workplaces, and shared amenities.
Multiple Credentials for Everyday Facilities
The wallet can hold more than one mobile credential, which helps people who move between approved doors, workplaces, residences, or amenities. Color-coded labels give each stored credential a quick visual identity, so users can distinguish entries without opening every record or carrying several physical cards.
Conekt is suited to commercial, retail, industrial, education, healthcare, and similar environments that use compatible readers. The app is most helpful when an administrator controls issuance and access rights: the phone supplies the credential, while the facility’s reader and access system decide where it works. Users who need a general NFC wallet or unsupported door hardware will need a different solution.
