Connect a Company Brand Portal
Bynder starts by connecting the Android app to an organization’s existing brand portal. Users enter the portal domain, continue through their company’s sign-in process, and receive access according to the rights assigned by a portal administrator. This keeps the mobile workspace tied to the same Asset Bank rather than creating a separate library.
Once connected, teams can reach approved marketing collateral, logos, sales materials, documents, templates, video, and audio from a phone. The portal-based setup is especially useful for marketers, sales staff, and field teams who need current content while traveling or meeting customers, but it requires an authorized Bynder flagship account.
Search, Filter, and Inspect Assets
Asset discovery centers on search, filters, sorting, and detailed previews. Users can enter keywords, reuse recent searches, or narrow results by asset type, orientation, dates, metaproperties, tags, size, and other taxonomy fields configured in their portal. Opening a result provides a larger preview before anyone downloads or shares the file.
Asset details can show the contributor, upload date, and associated metadata, helping teams distinguish between similar logos, documents, or campaign files. Sorting by newest, oldest, or name makes busy libraries easier to scan, while file-type previews help users recognize formats such as images, PDFs, presentations, audio, video, or design files.
Download, Upload, and Share Files
Bynder supports practical file movement between the Asset Bank and Android. Users can download an original asset or an available derivative, then share selected files through Android’s native sharing interface. This workflow helps someone send approved collateral to a messaging, mail, or collaboration app without first returning to a desktop browser.
Users with the required portal rights can also upload media from inside Bynder, the photo gallery, or another file-holding app. Uploads may go to a Waiting Room or directly to the Asset Bank, depending on permissions, with options for titles and descriptions. These controls keep mobile contributions aligned with the organization’s review process.
Organize Favorites and Collections
Favorites and collections help users turn a large asset library into a smaller working set. A frequently used item can be marked as a favorite for quick retrieval inside the app, while related files can be grouped into new or existing collections for a campaign, meeting, or sales task.
Collections can also support controlled sharing with internal or external recipients. Depending on portal rights, a user can add recipients, choose whether login is required, set access dates, and allow management privileges. This makes the app useful for assembling and distributing approved content on the go while keeping access decisions connected to Bynder’s portal permissions.
