Backbar 8.29 is a beverage-operations workspace for bars, restaurants, and other hospitality teams. It brings bottle and product counts, purchasing, invoice handling, menu costing, and performance tracking into one workflow rather than separate spreadsheets. Teams can scan items, measure open-bottle quantities, upload invoices, connect point-of-sale sales, and keep supplier or product information current. Recipe and price tools help translate stock data into more deliberate menu decisions, while reports provide a view of spending, usage, and product performance. The app's onboarding presents Get Started and Sign in, then asks for an email and password, so an account is part of the normal setup. Android 13 or newer is required by this package, and Camera, Location, and Notifications appear among its declared permissions.

Count stock across bottles and locations

Backbar combines multi-location inventory counts with barcode lookup and an open-bottle quantity slider. That gives bar teams a practical way to record stock during a shift and keep shared product totals easier to compare.

Turn invoices into smarter purchasing

Invoice uploads, distributor orders, supplier connections, and product cost updates connect purchasing to the inventory workflow. Managers can use the same beverage records to prepare orders and follow changes without rebuilding every item manually.

Use POS and costing data to shape menus

POS-linked depletion, recipe costing, menu pricing, and operational reports help teams connect what they sell with what each drink or food item costs. Owners can review usage and spending while refining a workable menu.
