Tank Dimensions, Volume, and Water Weight
Aquarium Calculator turns a tank’s basic dimensions into practical planning figures. Choose the Volume tab, select a tank shape, pick inches or centimeters, and enter length, width, and height. The calculator presents volume, surface area, and water weight, giving fishkeepers a quick way to compare a new tank with the space, stand, or equipment they have in mind.
The shape selector is useful when a simple rectangular estimate is not enough because the app offers ten tank shapes. A Clear button resets the fields for another comparison, while the compact layout keeps the inputs and results together. This makes the tool handy when comparing aquarium options, checking capacity before a water change, or planning a first setup.
CO₂, pH, and Water Hardness Checks
The CO₂ calculator provides a focused way to relate pH and KH readings. Open the CO₂ tab, enter the two water values, and the page returns a carbon-dioxide result in parts per million. That gives aquarists a quick reference when they are checking water chemistry or adjusting a planted-tank routine.
A separate Water Hardness tab converts dH (gH) into ppm, so common measurements can be read in a more familiar form without leaving the app. Both screens use short input fields and a Clear button, keeping repeat checks simple. Because the result depends on the values entered, users should measure their water carefully and treat the numbers as calculation guidance alongside their normal aquarium practice.
Volume and Temperature Unit Conversion
The Convert tab handles everyday conversions that can otherwise slow down aquarium planning. Its volume row lets users choose an input unit, enter a value, and select an output unit; the displayed example runs from Drop (pharm) to Liter (L). A separate Temperature section converts Fahrenheit to Celsius, keeping two common tasks together on one page.
This layout is useful when a product label, water-care record, or aquarium measurement uses units different from the ones you normally use. Dropdown controls make the direction visible before you type, and the Clear button prepares the page for another calculation.
