Users can leave the gateway selector on Any or choose a country, then start the tunnel from the central toggle and keep the selected region visible in the location bar. Encrypted tunnel with a clear connection state
The central toggle takes the user from an unprotected state into the VPN connection flow, while the interface keeps the current status easy to read. The service data notice explains that Android's VPN service creates an encrypted tunnel, giving users a clear reason to review the connection before browsing on shared Wi-Fi.
Choose Any or a country
The location selector begins with Any for an available gateway and also supports choosing a country. The lower location bar keeps the active region visible, which is useful when a traveler or remote worker wants a repeatable route across changing networks.
Visible free-tier speed limits
The main panel shows download and upload ceilings for the free tier and provides a Not Fast Enough? route to an upgrade offer. This makes the free-versus-Premium tradeoff visible before connection, while actual throughput still depends on the network and gateway.
